Just wondering is anyone has come across this before, I have a man who has been seen by a specialist and told that his asthma is as a result of an allergy to histamine, and he works in a fish factory handling head on gutted fish. I am aware of the toxin Scombrotoxin that induces the formation of histamine in fish depending on the temperature of the product and how fresh the fish is, but all the information I look at is with regard to fish ingestion and nothing to do with inhalation...has anyone come across anything similar or knows where I should be looking?

Many thanks in advance

Amanda
