The students' association at the University of Edinburgh runs a teaching awards scheme. 

"This is the first fully student created and run a university teaching award scheme in the UK. The EUSA Teaching Awards ran for the first time in 2008/9 and we were pleased with the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Awards from students, the University and in the education sector more generally."
