This is a holistic and personalised outcomes measurement and recovery-focused key working tool which is designed primarily for people of working age. The paper finds that The Recovery Star has been instrumental in promoting social inclusion for many service users, their carers and families.

This is the third in a series of three papers by the authors. The paper is the first introduction to psychologically informed environments and the enabling environment approach to be made available to the general and specialist public. The article identifies and illustrates the links between the "enabling environment" approach and contemporary social policy themes such as relational health, public health, social inclusion; and the "Big Society".
