Dear Bob and all,

I don't want to annoy anyone by continuing on
this non-scientific subject. I understand your
concern. My view is simply that if the setting is
reply to sender only, some people (including
myself), may feel that they or their answer is
not sufficiently strong or knowlegeable to go and
change the default "To:" address to that of the
entire group. This would make many discussions or
interesting views disappear, whereas and I
generally enjoy following them.
The opposite setting only requires some attention
when using messages from the list to start
personal conversation. But then, I would
obviously survive if the settings were changed...

All the best,

Pavel
