Hi Elaine, I have just spoken to Victor at City and Guilds who said they have phased out paper based exams completely for Functional Skills. They are only online, on demand. I don’t remember them ever mentioning this, I thought we had the option of paper based or online – has anybody else heard about this? I’ve just emailed all F/S tutors, think I may hide under my desk for the rest of the day!!

Cheers

Subject: City & Guilds Functional Skills - paper entries

Hi all

I’ve had a query logged with City & Guilds since October about how to make EDI entries for FS papers (level 1-2) for testing after january when their fixed weeks system expires. All I get back is they are on demand papers for Feb onwards but they are not sure about the EDI availability of this. Does anyone know anything more please?

Thanks  J
