SdG Associates is running a 10 week online course on analyzing qualitative
data:

13 February 2012 - 29 April 2012

This course will focus on the analysis process involved when using
Qualitative Data Analysis Software (ATLAS.ti or NVivo) to support the
analysis of qualitative data. The philosophy of the course is that the use
of software should not be seen as an 'add-on' but should be integrated into
the whole approach to analysis. The focus of the course is on the analysis
process with the software playing a supporting role.

You will be working with your own data – so the project is aimed at those
who have already started a project – whether at the pilot stage or later.
The course is mainly asynchronous with set tasks set for each week – about
8-10 hours a week. You choose when you log-in. However, the aim is also to
create a cooperative research community. While working on your own
research projects, you will also be working in small groups to reflect on
each other’s analysis process. While everyone will be working on their own
individual projects, you are all going through the same research process.

The principles of the course is based on my book with Judy Davidson – di
Gregorio, S. and Davidson, J. (2008) Qualitative Research Design for
Software Users, McGraw-Hill.
