Apologies for cross posting - see below for an opportunity in Newcastle Faculty of Medical Sciences Engagement Support Coordinator Salary range: £23,121 - £26,779 You will act as co-ordinator for all aspects of engagement administration and policy for the Faculty with a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Public and Patient Engagement Strategy. You will identify engagement opportunities and assist in the development and delivery of a programme of awareness raising events; identify and disseminate good practice; organise seminars, workshops and conferences, drawing on engagement expertise across the Faculty and University as appropriate; design and manage an engaging programme of activity as part of regional and national science festival activity; bring together engagement project committees and working groups and provide administrative support You should be a graduate or have equivalent qualification or experience, have significant administrative experience, preferably in a University engagement environment, and possess excellent IT skills. Experience of project management is essential. You will have excellent oral and written communications skills, the ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations and individuals and have the ability to plan and organise your own schedule of work. Experience of coordinating activities across a wide range of project partners and experience of working with patient and public representative/support groups would be an advantage.
