Hello all
I’m enjoying ‘In our time’, the Radio 4 programme presented by Melvyn Bragg – this week there are daily episodes charting the history of the written word.

The focus is very much on the uses of literacy, and how literacy emerged in different forms through a mutual shaping of technologies and circumstances of use. Some interesting links and visuals accompanying the programme too.
Happy New Year to all!
James
