0401/12e FREELANCE: Oversight / Lead Programmer UK, South East For a confidential consultation call James Carrera on 0044 (0) 207 255 6665 or email your CV to [log in to unmask] Job Summary: The oversight programmer's role is to oversee and lead validation of external service providers / CRO's who develop reporting software for the efficacy and safety data components for clinical trials for global projects and to provide the data presentations specified using the developed software. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: a) The oversight of programmers who develop SAS programs for the production of statistical output for clinical trials (Tables, Listings and Figures) ISS/ISE in order to meet regulatory requirements b) Oversight of the execution of SAS programs for the production of statistical output for clinical trials (Tables, Listings and Figures) in order to meet regulatory requirements c) Input into clinical project documents to ensure that SAS programming needs are addressed in a timely manner d) Ensure quality of SAS programs and associated output via documented quality checks e) Input into the development of data standards, reporting standards and guidelines to ensure efficient production of output f) Supervise functional service provider or offsite SAS statistical programmers and, where applicable, contract staff Essential Skills & Capabilities: * BA/BS or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, life sciences or related field, or entry level MS Statistics/Computer Science. * Fluent English (oral and written). * Working knowledge of/ experience with SAS software.
