This studentship will use Bayesian spatial modelling techniques to examine the association between various measures of population health (cardiorespiratory mortality, cardiorespiratory hospital admissions, and mortality among a vulnerable cohort) and air pollution in Scottish cities, and the extent to which such relationships may be modified by deprivation.
