Two funded PhD Studentships in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics, starting October 2012

We are seeking to recruit two PhD students with backgrounds in medical statistics or epidemiology, 
to undertake PhDs in epidemiological research into the causes of cancer. The students would work 
primarily on an existing cohort study that has collected questionnaires and blood samples from 
over 100,000 women in the UK, as well as on large international collaborations.

Applicants should have, or be undertaking, an MSc in medical statistics or epidemiology, or have 
equivalent experience.  The studentships will be for 4 years with an annual stipend of £18,180, 
and in addition £11,000 pa research funds.
