Dear All, We do not use gel tubes (BD SSTII or PSTII) for phenytoin or carbamazepine but use them for other drugs typically measured on routine immunoassay platforms. Part of the validation was the attached poster from 2007. For all the special drugs measured by HPLC we use non gel tubes, with lack of evidence of non interference being the major factor.
