Hello Caroline et al.,

Classics scholar Sarah Iles Johnston will be presenting "Dark Demeter, Women
and Harvest" at PantheaCon 2012, in the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, CA on
Saturday, February 18 at 9:00 AM in the Fir Room. The presentation will
involve interpretations of a ritual in honor of Demeter involving the
sacrifice of four heifers in the temple of the goddess. Dr. Johnston is
seeking responses from the Pagan community that might help elucidate the
meaning and feeling of the ritual.

For more information, visit the PantheaCon website at

Best,
Sabina

Hi Sabina,

Any more word on whether interesting Classics scholar, Sarah Iles Johnston,
will be presenting at (which ever Pagan conference it was) Pantheacon or
Theurgicon?

~Caroline.
