Emilie is a great personn. I had several times the opportunity to work with her, and to appreciate her acuteness and very good and critical knowledge of contemporary artists' positionning towards organisations. Her contribution was always empowering. She surely will add to our network a good deal of energy and contemporaneity. Last, she's right, why France is so scarce in the field ? Emilie has an impressive CV in both diplomas (master in organisation, sociology, master in plastic arts), teaching (OB in Rouen Business School, INSEEC), she is also as a practitioner who has contributed to numerous artistic events : gallery exhibition (Naples, Paris, Algeria), redaction of catalogue, coordinator of cultural projects, and so on. And she is also involved in research projects on the role of artists in organisation (which is also the subject of her PHD) She is also a translator since she speaks French and Swedish as mother language and is also fluent in English and Italian (and speaks also some Arabic she told me). She estimate that the little number of few French people are involved in AACORN reflects the lack of interest in our country for those subjects and she want to improve that state of thing.
