Dear Zooarchers,

Firstly, congratulations to the 1000 member mark!

Secondly, could any of the 1000 Zooarchers assist me in finding any
references (published/other) on the skeletal/anatomical differences in
the form of drawings/photos/atlas between European frogs (common) and
toad (Natterjack or  species. I am particularly interested in the main
limb bones and pelvic bones and a reference, if possible, that is not
based on size (overall measurements) differences.

I have for the past few months consistently searched various databases
and the internet but apart from Thomas's work in the Canadian
Zooarchaeology (2010),
http://journals.uvic.ca/index.php/zooarchaeology/article/viewFile/5267/1776
I haven't found anything from Europe.

If anyone can help me I would be very grateful.
Many thanks and best wishes
Ruth
