Dear zooarchers, I've recently come across a cuttlefish 'bone' from a late 2nd century deposit from a site in the City of London and while I have come across medieval and postmed cuttlefish before from London sites, this is my first Roman example. Has anyone else come across Roman cuttlefish? All the best Kevin
