From the right of the slipway, and across
halfway, and to the bar centre; between
the porth and cove, threads of rotten tapestry
now disintegrating, thrown on the floor.

At their end, they swivel back, a short length
which meets a straight edge coming from the north.
Between these, under the flattened wigwam,
large pebbles, weeds, but mostly disturbed sand.

Above, grey at each side the bar’s high waist;
and, further still, chaos of browned over
rocks, taking hold of all the rising east.

Round the south curve from bar into island,
ground cover of seaweed tangled stranded
layering its bright sun shimmering darkness.
