Dear Don, Following thread with interest .... nothing much to add (for a change). Do want to suggest including the URL to Ranjan and Ranjan's book. Your Core77 readers and anyone else can download the PDF version of Crafts of India: Handmade in India from M P Ranjan's blog: http://design-for-india.blogspot.com/ It's the complete book in free, digital form. Though I am delighted to own a paper copy, sitting on the shelf two meters from my hand as I write this note. Ken
