I did read some research somehwere that said that air dryers circulate toilet matter / bacterium that is in the air ( expelled from the flush as most toilets no longer have lids!) and blows it back onto peoples hands! Not sure where this was and it was a few years ago, ever since then I have used my own hand wipes!! My gut feeling is that in clinical (first Aid) or food preparation areas at least paper towel is still the best evidenced but wondered if anyone out there has any evidence to support this or the change to Hot air blowers .
