L'université et les organismes de recherche sont des lieux vivants et engagés de médiation des sciences. Et leurs actions sont d'autant plus importantes que les rapports entre sciences, technologies et société sont au cœur des débats actuels. Surtout au moment où la poussée de la cyberculture a démultiplié à l'infini les interactions entre producteurs et utilisateurs d'informations. Ce colloque veut examiner les nouvelles formes de dialogue entre ceux qui sont directement engagés dans la production des connaissances et ceux pour lesquels les questions éthiques, politiques et économiques, liées à la recherche et à ses retombées sont mises sur le même plan que l'avancement des connaissances.

Universities and research organisations are vibrant communities fully engaged in science communication. Their actions are all the more important because the relationship between science, technology and society at large is at the heart of current debate, particularly at a time when the rapid expansion of digital technology opens up uncountable modes of interaction between producers and users of information. This conference intends to take a closer look at the new forms of dialogue between those who are directly involved in the production of knowledge and those for whom ethical, political and economic questions linked to research and its outcomes are considered just as important as the progress of knowledge.

• Publics de la médiation scientifique

• Nouveaux outils, nouvelles pratiques

The proposals
The proposals should address one of the proposed themes.

Five strands of investigation to explore new horizons:

• The specificity of science communication in universities and research centres

• Public policy with regard to science communication

• Collaborative work and partnership

• Target audiences for science communication

• New tools, new practices

Calendrier

La date limite de réception des propositions des communications est fixée au 10 février 2012.

Les propositions seront examinées par les membres du Comité Scientifique. Les conférenciers retenus seront contactés avant le 15 avril 2012 et informés sur les démarches à effectuer. Les communications sélectionnées ne seront ajoutées au programme que lorsque les conférenciers se seront inscrits à la conférence.

La date limite de réception des communications est fixée au 15 juillet 2012.

Deadline
The deadline for proposals is February 10, 2012.
Submitted proposals will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee. All successful proposals will be notified by April 15, 2012 at the latest and informed about the steps to take. Papers will only be added to the programme when the speakers have registred for the conference.

The deadline for receipt of final papers is July 15, 2012.

Publication

Les actes du colloque feront l'objet d'une publication sur le site Internet du colloque à partir de 10 octobre 2012, un projet de publication-papier des actes est en cours.

Publication

The proceedings will be available online as of October 10, 2012. A printed publication of the proceedings is also considered.
