Let’s have a Euro-quiz 14/12/2011 The International Library & Information Group (ILIG) would like to extend its festive quiz challenge to all information professionals, knowledge managers, evidologists, wisdom officers, informaticists, digital access architects and even plain old librarians or wannabee librarians. What: A festive quiz with a European flavour led by guest quiz-master Ian ‘Caterpillar Library’ Stringer* including refreshments (alcohol-based, alcohol-free and edible), networking and prizes. When: Wednesday, 14th December 2011. Refreshments from 1745; quiz starting at 1815; the event will finish promptly at 1945. Where: CILIP, 7 Ridgmount Street, London WC1E 7AE Cost: A voluntary Quiz entry fee of £5 per person which will go entirely to ILIG's Emergency Fund to assist librarians / libraries in need across the globe will be gratefully received.
