Apologies for the late notice.
All University of Edinburgh sites will close for the Christmas/New Year break on Friday 23rd December, and will re-open for business on Wednesday 4th January.
For the remainder of this week, we propose the following:
Physical items: Today (Monday) will be our last day for posting things out. If you have a *really* urgent request, feel free to get in touch with us, but we are short-staffed this week and so can't guarantee to get anything out to you.
Scans: We'll try to keep going with these for the rest of the week, but as above, we can't guarantee delivery.
Returns of physical items to our Lender colleagues: We propose to send the last batch out today, as we don't want any of your books to get caught up in the Christmas mail. If this is unacceptable to you, and you'd prefer us to post out regardless, please let us know.
Finally, I'd like to thank you all for your invaluable assistance over the past year, and wish you a happy and restful Christmas and New year break - I'm sure we're all ready for it.
