I think it depends on what you mean by ‘bell pit’.

Do you mean a pit in which a bell has been case, or a bell shaped pit from which minerals have been extracted?

If the latter I suspect that quite a few have been scheduled on the Norfolk-Suffolk border in the form of Grimes Graves

Has anyone attempted to have Bell Pita scheduled? I checked the heritage list for England but could not find any I would be lion if I said I had tried any combination of terms.
