The next meeting for the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Learning and Interpretation group (BOBLI) will be on Wednesday 11 January at Shaw House, Newbury www.shawhouse.org.uk <http://www.shawhouse.org.uk> . Directions and map attached.  The meeting is open to all heritage sector employees from this region.

This meeting will have a slightly different format to previous meetings as there will be an afternoon session as part of the BOB New Learning Perspectives Project.  

Agenda

10am - 10.30am                   Arrival with tea and coffee

10.30am - 12.30pm             Meeting to include:
·         Group – Update
·         Telling your Story - Interpretation Project
·         Tour of Shaw House
·         Future Planning for the group

12.30pm - 1.30pm               Lunch Break - please bring your own lunch, access to a microwave is available. Tea and coffee will
                                               be provided.

1.30pm - 3pm                       New Learning Perspectives – supported learning in the BOB sub-region.

Following our meeting, there will be an opportunity to meet Jocelyn Goddard, one of the mentors for this project, currently running in our sub-region, funded by the Museum Development Service. Jocelyn has had direct experience of working in museums in Oxfordshire and Reading and worked as an MLA South East access and learning advisor across the region for 4 years. She has been an independent consultant since 2007 and is a member of Cultural Consulting Network (www.culturalconsulting.net <http://www.culturalconsulting.net>  ).
Jocelyn will talk about the project and lead a session from 1.30 – 3.00 pm on "Schools: what we need to know." She aims for this to be informative, interactive and encouraging!

Please let me know if you are able to attend on the 11th.  Please can you make it clear if you are coming to the morning or afternoon session or both so I can let Joceyln know how many of us to expect.
