There's one in our module at http://app1.its.bbk.ac.uk/xerte/play.php?template_id=65 (page 2) and each of the 'course materials' modules has the same content on the right hand side of a two column page, which I think works quite well. For example: 'use the arrows at the top of the page' and alongside this is an icon to show the forward arrow.
