Interesting. Good to hear that institutions are already implementing responsive design. That is impressive! :)

Hi Paul,

We have a mobile App. for retention purposes but our most recent development is our web roll out using responsive design.
Thanks

Hi all,
I have a prospective new HE client that we are discussing mobile with and I wanted to canvas opinion about how other institutions are approaching mobile strategy.

It is something we have written quite a lot about (see below) and we even have a full-time mobile guy now but I don't know a huge amount about how other people in the sector are tackling the issue. For example:

  • Are you developing native or web apps?
  • If you are building native apps which platforms are you using?
  • Why did you choose the approach you did (either native or web?)
  • What about your main site? Are you changing that to better support mobile?
  • If you are making your main site mobile compatible are you doing separate mobile templates or using repsonsive design?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Below are a few posts to get the juices flowing :)

Thanks,
Paul
