Description
A postdoctoral position is available immediately at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for candidates interested in functional neuroimaging. The
Ogg Lab uses MRI to investigate the effects of catastrophic disease and treatment on brain function in children. Studies
probe major functional systems (motor, visual, attention, memory, reading) in diverse patient groups (pediatric cancer, hematological diseases, infectious diseases), and include a spectrum of participants from infants at initial diagnosis to long term cancer
survivors more than forty years after completion of therapy. Our
program of functional neuroimaging research affords unique opportunities to improve outcomes for children with catastrophic diseases and to advance neuroscience.
Requirements
We seek a postdoctoral fellow with a track record of productivity and a strong interest in neuroscience and translational imaging research. Candidates
should have (or expect) a Ph.D. and/or M.D., and will require significant background in magnetic resonance imaging and/or neuroscience.
