British Newspaper Archive goes online | Guardian Government Computing | Guardian Professional The British Library has launched the British Newspaper Archive<http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/>website which provides access to up to 4m fully searchable pages, featuring more than 200 newspaper titles from the UK and Ireland. The newspapers mainly date back to the 19th century, but include runs dating back to the first half of the 18th century.
