Duties and Responsibilities

UCL provides an excellent learning experience, with our high-quality teaching informed by leading-edge international research. The Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Unit (DCNU) at the UCL Institute of Child Health is engaged in teaching, research and clinical paediatric neuropsychology work. As part of the training programme in clinical paediatric neuropsychology we are recruiting a Teaching Fellow.


The successful applicant will work as part of the MSc Paediatric Neuropsychology team with the course director, Dr Peter Rankin, and administrator, Ms Amanda Kosinski, to organise and deliver the modular MSc in Clinical and Applied Paediatric Neuropsychology programme to professional psychologists. The post-holder will also work with DCNU and the clinical neuropsychology department at Great Ormond Street Hospital to develop further training initiatives.


This post is funded for 36 months in the first instance.

 
Key Requirements

Applicants must have an undergraduate qualification in Psychology (minimum 2:1) and postgraduate qualification at Masters level or above in a discipline relevant to neuropsychology. The postholder must have experience of studying and conducting research at post-graduate level. An in-depth knowledge of key areas of child development and neuropsychology is essential. A breadth of understanding of a range of core issues related to paediatric neuropsychology and excellent administrative, IT and organisational skills are essential.
