Hi all

Have had a couple of emails for more details about how to obtain more detailed outputs on non-parametric test so have forwarded one of the messages below.

Cheers again

Hi Sinéad

Sorry for the late reply, but I hope it still helps in some way.

You are running the NPTESTS command rather than the old NPAR TESTS command, which is now accessed via "legacy dialogs" under Nonparametric tests.
But you can still access it this way. To see the full output from NPTESTS, you just have to double click to open the "model viewer". i.e. just double click on the line of the table of which you are interested (right on the p value) and another table will pop which will show you all the relevant values.

You can also acess other test statistics by choosing the the relevant fields on this new box/table.

Good luck,

Nina

Hi there

Does anybody know how to obtain the z value for Mann-Whitney U tests using PAWS 19 so that I can correctly report a significant result? I only seem to have access to the p-value's and a tip on how to interpret the result.

Thanks

Sinéad
