Dear Terry In a paragraph, just before the concluding chapter of your 2003 paper mentioned in your last post, entitled "Customers' Use of Products as Design Tools", you said: "Exploring the types of design methods and design practices appropriate to identifying *all* possible uses of products is a significant consideration and left to another time." Since 2003, have you ever had a chance to explore further those specific 'methods and practices'? Could you point us where published material about those can be found and retrieved?
