The Laboratory of Ultrafast spectroscopy (LSU) and Laboratory of Computational Chemistry and Computational Biology (LCBC) at the EPFL invites applications for a PhD position. The project will involve simulating ultrafast chemical dynamics
of molecules in solution, in relation to ultrafast X-ray spectroscopy studies, using a range of electronic structure, molecular and quantum dynamics techniques.
We are seeking candidates with:
• A degree in chemistry or physics and some background in theoretical studies.
• An interest in a close relationship with experimental work.
• Programming experience is preferable but not essential.
