Research Assistant/Fellow: 70% FTE

The Leeds Institute of Health Sciences invites applications for a research assistant or fellow to work on an NIHR Service Delivery and Organisation project to investigate the role of informal networks in sharing information between healthcare managers.

Your main responsibilities will be to contribute to data collection (observational fieldwork and interviews), analysis, synthesis and dissemination during the research project. You will also be responsible for the day to day running and management of the project, under the supervision of the project lead.

All applicants should have a first degree and postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant health, social science or management research discipline and experience of conducting qualitative research. Experience of project planning and co-ordination, analysing and interpreting qualitative data and excellent organisational and communication skills are also required.

For appointment at Grade 7 you will have A PhD or equivalent in a discipline related to health, social science or management research and significant experience in conducting and analysing qualitative observational research and interviews.

Fixed Term until 30 September 2012

University Grade 6 or 7 (£24,370 - £35,788 p.a.) depending on qualifications and experience
