**Pre-conference drinks and networking on 24 November**

Those of you in London the night before are invited to join us for a pre-conference drinks and networking event at the Marlborough Arms, 36 Torrington Place, London, WC1E 7HJ. Whether you're attending the conference or not, it would be great to see lots of MCGers there.  We've reserved the space around the fireplace from 5.30pm onwards on Thursday 24 November. Mia will also be encouraging attendees at the Open Data in Cultural Heritage at the Wellcome Trust that dayu to come along as well. 

 

**AGM details and invitation for nominations to the MCG committee**

The Annual General Meeting which will be held during UKMW11. Nominations are invited for the following committee vacancies:

 

Chair     1 vacancy

Members   7 vacancies

 

The MCG committee consists of four groups of three people. The three operational groups, Communications, Events, and Professional Development are supported by the Executive and Administration group. Though MCG committee welcome nominations from all members whatever their background the committee is currently keen to attract members who have or would like to gain experience in the operational areas.
