We are currently seeking a Corporate GIS Manager to develop, manage and 
champion Geographical Information Systems within and across Warwickshire 
County Council, so that it makes best use of GI, data, and other 
resources. You will be responsible for Information Management within 
Warwickshire Observatory.


Key Requirements

You will be responsible for managing the Warwickshire Observatory 
Information Team including GIS Data Administrator, GIS Developer, LIS 
Officer, and Partnership Information Officer, therefore proven experience 
of achieving and delivering results in a politically sensitive context and 
previous supervisory experience are essential for this role. 
 
You will also develop, manage, maintain, and monitor a GIS Strategy for 
the County Council, along with relevant Action Plans, to be agreed with 
Directorates in accordance with the corporate ICT Strategy. A high level 
understanding of current development in all aspects of GI management which 
may effect local authorities is also essential for this role.
