The portal is designed to allow the sharing of information about existing contracts and forthcoming tendering opportunities across the 74 councils registered. If you have not previously registered and for this purpose, below are instructions for registration.
Instructions for Registration:
Suppliers are invited to register at the South East Business Portal (SEBP) via their website - www.businessportal.southeastiep.gov.uk in order to access Opportunities.
The registration process is straightforward; however, there is “Supplier User Guidance” available which I suggest you read beforehand.
As part of the registration process you will be asked to select the geographical areas and councils you wish to work with. You may select the whole of the south east region, one or more sub region(s), which is our term for county areas, or by individual council(s) if you only want to work within (a) specific area(s). However many you choose is up to you. The SEBP is free to use regardless of the area(s) you wish to cover.
Once registered, you will automatically receive e-mail notification of new opportunities matching the profile you created during registration. It does not automatically include your company in the process. Your company will still need to express an interest by using the buttons at the top of the opportunity form. If you have any queries regarding registration please contact the South East Business Portal Customer services at
[log in to unmask] or telephone (01635) 766029.
If after considering the opportunity you wish to submit a tender for this work you should confirm your intent to do so.
All questions in relation to the procurement must be sent via the portal where there is a question and answer facility. You will be required to submit your tender via the portal as instructed in the documents and by the deadline for the return.
In order to view the information on the portal, as we are restricting this to selected suppliers, can you please advise by email that you have registered as it is necessary for us to select your company from the portal registered suppliers list. I will e-mail to confirm when “access is available”.
In order for us to accept and evaluate any submissions this must be via the portal. Any submission e-mailed to the Council will be deleted.
