A full time Research post-doc position is available in the Dartmouth Brain Imaging Center and the Advanced Imaging Center.  We are looking for applicants who are interested in magnetic resonance brain imaging (MRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), advanced diffusion imaging and imaging data processing.  Programming skills in Matlab, IDL, or C/C++, as well as experience with imaging processing software, FSL, Camino, or ITK, are desired.  Applicants should hold a PhD degree in medical physics, physics, biomedical, electrical engineering, biophysics, computer sciences, neuroscience, psychology or related areas.

One of the projects is to study hybrid diffusion imaging (HYDI) on individuals with mild traumatic brain injury.  The candidate also has opportunities to explore diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), high angular resolution diffusion imaging (HARDI), q-ball imaging (QBI), diffusion spectrum imaging (DSI), white matter tractography and probability tractography.  Candidates will have accesses to both imaging centers; each has a research dedicated Philips Intera Achieva 3.0 T scanner and a state-of-the-art 32 CH head coil. Candidates also have the opportunities to expose to fMRI studies, resting state fMRI connectivity, neurophysiological/psychophysical recording facilities, and clinical collaborations.
