The original email was intended for users of the Unit 4 (aka Agressor aka MicroCompass) QL-x MIS systems that use the Examinations Module. There currently exists a QL User Group and, in years gone by, an Examinations QL User Group (a sub-group of the main User Group, really). This is meant specifically for the users of Unit 4’s QLS, and is meant to be both a focus group for users and the Company as well so that any problems with the system may be ironed out and also to share good practice in certain areas where some other users may be experiencing difficulties. Apologies for those of you who have been trying to email me direct – can’t imagine why emails are not coming through, unless my account is full ☺ From the responses I have received so far it looks like this could be a ‘goer’. As I am aware that some are away at the moment, I shall wait until this time next week and then send out an email to all respondents looking for suggested venue (somewhere central, perhaps), agenda items and perhaps get someone from Unit 4 to be there also should there be a requirement at this initial stage. They usually meet at most twice a year. I am looking to resurrect the QL Examinations Group that used to meet on a regular basis some years ago but has since ceased to be active. I was wondering if you could possibly forward this to your colleagues in the main QL User Group and ask them to pass on to their examinations colleagues in an attempt to gauge the interest, or otherwise, of re-starting the Examination QL User Group. I believe there is a lot to be gained across the board from such a group which could be beneficial to both us as users and Unit 4 as the supplier.
