Hi all,

at EMD we provide low cost immigration advice but we used to refer people to IAS wherever possible.

Most Citizen's Advice Bureaus will give level 1 advice for free, and a full list of not-for-profit organisations can be found at:

http://oisc.homeoffice.gov.uk/people_seeking_immigration_advice/list_of_immigration_advisers/

Refugee councils are normally very helpful for any refugee or asylum issues.

If you get stuck, you can send an e-mail to [log in to unmask] for more advice, hope this helps,

Zoe

> Hello all,
> a lot of you will probably know this already, but just in case: if you have been directing any of your learners to their local immigration advice service (which was a charity offering free legal advice on proceeding with visa applications etc), unfortuately, the organisation went into liquidation during the summer due to government cuts.
