Subject: Engaging Employers
Dear all,
As part of the HE STEM Project on Employability, we are particularly interested in how universities create that initial spark or make that initial contact with employers to start
the process of a collaboration eg. asking the employer to engage in student projects, placements, curriculum development etc.
Do you call them, email, send a brochure, post up information on your website, network, use existing relationships or other methods? How do you make that initial contact with
an employer?
And which approach gives you the greatest success?
