Special Collections Project Archivist - Ken Loach Archive (1 year fixed-term post)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Archivist to catalogue the Ken Loach document archive. Working as part of the BFI curatorial team you will be required to organize, list, carry out basic conservation work and selectively digitise documents from this and related collections.

You will have a recognised archival qualification, with at least 1 year's experience of working in a relevant archive environment. You will have a working knowledge of ISAD(G) and experience of using automated archive systems or information databases. The successful applicant will also have a demonstrable interest in, and knowledge of, British film and television in both its historical and contemporary contexts.

You will be based at the John Paul Getty Conservation Centre, Berkhamsted but you will be required in central London on a regular basis. You will enjoy benefits such as a final salary pension scheme, 28-33 days annual leave, and tickets to BFI festivals and events.

The closing date for applications is 19 December and interviews will be held on 18 January.
