PTH reference intervals should be assessed only in individuals with sufficient 25-OH-Vit D levels (>50 nmol/L)

Subject: Paediatric PTH reference intervals

Dear Mailbase

 

We are currently reviewing our PTH reference interval. Search of published data hasn’t revealed an ‘ideal’ population. Would anyone be willing to share their paediatric reference intervals for serum PTH analysed on Siemens Immulite 2000 and what the origins of the data are.
