Tue 18 October 2011 – 7.30pm Discussion Fourth Translators' Evening with Sasha Dugdale and James Womack PUSHKIN CLUB PROGRAMME Sasha Dugdale is well-known both as a poet and as a translator. Her recent poem collection THE RED HOUSE has received excellent reviews. Her new translation of Chekhov's "Lady with a Dog" is sure to be a revelation. James Womack's new translations of Mayakovsky are outstanding. I have never before heard Mayakovsky's voice so perfectly reproduced in English.
