Discussions will then continue in a local pub

 

Science Question Time is an exciting venture between the Biochemical
Society, the Campaign for Science and Engineering (CaSE) and staff at Imperial
College London. At this, the fifth Science Question Time in London, we're inviting
speakers and the audience to discuss the future of pharmaceuticals. This event
forms part of the London Science Festival (LSF) events programme.

 

Speakers:

Chair - Professor Clive Page


Clive is Professor of Pharmacology at King’s College London.

 

Professor David Fox 

David is a Science Associate at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

 

James Peach 

James is Director of Stratified Medicine at Cancer Research UK.

 

Becky Purvis 

Becky is Head of Policy at the Association of Medical Research Charities

 

Dr Ilina Singh 

Ilina Singh is Reader in Bioethics and Society at the London School
of Economics & Political Science.

 

You can follow Science Question Time on Twitter. During
the event following the hashtag #SciQT provides both a rich source of
commentary and a way for you to join the discussion.

 

Registration:

Science Question Time is free and open to everyone, but we ask that you
please reserve your place online in advance. The LSF team have created a registration
page here.

 

Asking questions:

This event relies on your questions. You can use the form
on the Biochemical Society website to submit them in advance or you can ask
them on the night.
