The Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology at University of Glasgow opens two post-doctoral research associate positions, starting on January 1st, 2012 for 2 years, to contribute to two projects: a BBSRC-funded project “Audio-visual integration of identity information from the face and voice: a combined behavioural, fMRI and MEG study”; an MRC-funded project “Lifelong changes in the cerebral processing of social signals”. 
The successful candidates will have a Ph.D. or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years research experience, with normally 1-2 years relevant post-doctoral experience; extensive and up-to-date practical and theoretical knowledge in fMRI, MEG and/or EEG experimentation; excellent knowledge of experimental procedures in the cognitive neurosciences and of experimental statistics, and excellent knowledge of Matlab and experimental control software.
