You, your colleagues and students are cordially invited to this years
series of 'Looking at Children's Books' lectures by Brian Alderson.
Brian is now 81 and we are trying to make sure that his deep knowledge
of children's books and publishing is passed on to future generations so
do please spread the word. The first talk starts at 5:00; thereafter
they will begin at 5:30. All this year's lectures will be based on the
archival holdings in Seven Stories. The location will be Seminar Room
152 on Level One (basement) of the Robinson Library. You should come to
the main entrance of the building. The nearest car park is John Dobson
St. The Robinson is opposite the Great North Museum; there are maps of
the campus and the city here: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/about/visit/maps.htm.
