BIALL and CLSIG invite graduate trainees, first jobbers and student librarians to their joint annual Open Day. Information Professionals from all parts of the workplace sector will speak about their working day and offer tips on finding jobs in their area. Lyn Robinson of City University will open the day with a talk about studying information and Sue Edgar, Recruitment Manager - Executive from Sue Hill Recruitment will advise on your information career. Other professionals from a variety of sectors will give insight to their careers. These include Sue Edgar (Sue Hill Recruitment), Penny Bailey (Bailey Solutions), Sandra Smythe (Mishcon de Reya Solicitors), Mark Haines (BPP University College of Professional Studies) and Phillip Barlow (Imperial College London). There will be visits to one of three special libraries during the day - Wellcome Trust, British Library and the BMA.
