Guest Editors Nirmal Puwar (Goldsmiths College, University of London,
UK) and Sanjay Sharma (Brunel University, UK) bring to readers a special
issue of The Senses and Society

project ‘Noise of the Past’ (2007-9, funded by the Arts and Humanities
Research Council). The issue prompts readers to intervene in the
relation of Post-colonialism, war and memory from a multitude of sensory
engagements. Music composition, film making, event curation and social,
political and cultural analysis form the collection.
