UPDATE: ATHE Annual Conference 2011: Valuing Tourism in Higher Education:
Capitalising on HE-Industry Links

Dear ATHE Member

Due to numerous requests from colleagues, we are pleased to let you know
that submission of abstracts for this year's annual conference has been
extended to 15th October.

Full papers, presentation of works in progress and posters, which support
the conference aim and within the following conference themes, are invited:

• Making the Case for Tourism in Higher Education
• What has Tourism in HE done for the industry?
• The place of Tourism within the REF
• Tourism research and progress/best practices/highlights
• International/collaborative partnerships
• Funding potential
• Government perspectives on Tourism in HE
• Employability issues

Papers from other themes not listed above but reflecting the conference's
overall aim are welcome.
