This free one day event will provide an opportunity to bring together established and student researchers, teachers and other language education practitioners to share ideas and perspectives on the theme of Linking Lives and Classrooms for Language Teaching and Learning. The forum will focus particularly on how students’ languages, stories and identities can be used to link the learning experience of the language classroom with the real lives and lived experiences of learners beyond the classroom.
The forum will include keynote presentations from research, materials design and practitioner perspectives, poster presentations from language teachers and researchers from a wide range of backgrounds, a panel discussion and many opportunities for
networking and sharing ideas.
